Which 2026 appliance rebate pays more: GE Profile or LG SIGNATURE?

LG SIGNATURE's instant rebate is larger at every overlapping quantity tier: $800 versus GE Profile's $400 for four eligible appliances, rising to $2,500 versus $2,000 for eight. The LG promotion covers select new, in-box LG SIGNATURE kitchen and laundry appliances. Ordinary LG, LG STUDIO, and SKS products do not count, and open-box and display items are excluded. Up to two products can count in each listed refrigerator, dishwasher, wall-oven, cooktop, range, washer, dryer, and Styler category; only one SideKick pedestal washer, ventilation product, or over-the-range microwave can count.

The current GE landing page and linked form both exclude Lowe's, Home Depot, and Best Buy purchases, but they disagree about additional excluded sellers. LG's page says prices, promotions, and availability vary by model, store, and online, so confirm that the instant tier appears on the exact seller's checkout rather than assuming every retailer participates.
LG's purchase window runs through December 30, 2026. Because the discount is instant, there is no later claim deadline for this specific promotion. GE Profile purchases run through December 31, 2026; submit the online claim or postmark the form by January 31, 2027. If eligible GE appliances arrive late, open the claim by January 31 and provide every serial number by February 28, 2027.
For GE, use GEAppliancesPromotions.com and upload the receipt or invoice showing the model numbers, purchase date, invoice number, and store name. Save the claim confirmation and later serial-number update. GE's landing page says Visa while the linked form says Mastercard, so treat the reward as a prepaid card and follow the network and expiration terms delivered with an approved claim.
Choose using net package cost. Remove ineligible models and sellers first, subtract only the rebate that the exact transaction qualifies for, and then add delivery, installation, required accessories, haul-away, taxes, and financing. A larger LG tier can still leave a higher total if the qualifying LG SIGNATURE package costs more, while a cheaper GE order is not useful if the seller or models fail the claim rules.
Do not add a Labor Day price, member discount, loyalty reward, financing offer, utility rebate, or another manufacturer promotion unless the second offer's current written terms allow the exact models and transaction. Save the dated promotion page, model list, cart or invoice, and final terms before paying; neither program's headline amount proves that another discount stacks.
