METHODOLOGY / VERSION 1.9

Coverage without pretending certainty.

Andrew’s Freebies crawls whole public source libraries, preserves their claims, and keeps public discovery visibly separate from first-party verification. Conditional benefits retain the relationship and action that unlock them.

SOURCE LEDGER / 1,289 RAW RECORDS

Every active source, accounted for.

744

FreeTrials.com

All article records discoverable through its public sitemap.

332

TrialForFree

Current offer posts plus legacy free-trial pages from its public WordPress collections.

104

Skowers

Every tool page exposed in the public sitemap and labeled as a free-trial tool.

ENTITLEMENT LEDGER / 4,441 RECORDS

Every enumerated source, captured.

239

Bank bonuses

Every current heading in Doctor of Credit's checking, savings, business, state, and branch-specific sections.

147

Card welcome offers

Current public offers from Doctor of Credit and US Credit Card Guide, including spend and fee language when published.

44

Shopping portals

Every rewards portal in Cashback Monitor's public monitored-portal ledger.

22/22

Linked-card programs

Major issuer, network, in-store, airline, hotel, and dining programs with first-party enrollment, activation, payout, and card-conflict terms.

22/22

Rebate programs

Major retailer and manufacturer rebate centers for home improvement, tires, appliances, and HVAC, including live amounts only when current official terms support them.

276/276

Direct activation paths

Directory-discovered offers that already send an agent to a provider, issuer, merchant, or administering-program path. The remainder is an explicit enrichment queue.

1269

Retained public services

National public programs, major-city library systems, and individually searchable library benefits stay in the full corpus with official claim paths, eligibility, geography, fees, and checked evidence.

01

Enumerate whole sources

Sitemaps, public content APIs, category indexes, and monitored ledgers define the crawl frontier. Every parse failure remains in the source report.

02

Preserve raw claims

Source title, benefit, relationship, requirement, activation, cost basis, fee language, geography, dates, and listing URL are retained before publication.

03

Separate the catalogs

Trials and entitlements use distinct schemas so a spend-to-get bonus or paid-card perk never masquerades as a universally free trial.

04

Separate discovery from proof

Directory-listed records are useful leads, not provider-confirmed facts. First-party records rank ahead of directory-only evidence.

05

Expose every condition

Deposit, spend, purchase, account, plan, membership, geography, personalization, and activation requirements stay visible to people and agents.

06

Publish openly

People and agents get the same 5,353 records through HTML, API, bulk files, OpenAPI, and MCP. There is no paid ranking.

WHAT COUNTS

A free trial charges $0 during a defined evaluation period.

The expanded index also retains adjacent offers found in source libraries, but marks each as a free plan, money-back guarantee, promotion, or unclassified directory listing. Use the offer-type filter for a strict free-trial-only result set.

WHAT UNLOCKS

An entitlement exists because a person has—or establishes—a qualifying relationship.

That relationship may be a bank account, exact card, paid plan, insurer, carrier, library, membership, geography, household condition, or public-program eligibility. The index labels included benefits separately from purchase, spend, deposit, and paid-membership offers. Every type and cost condition is defined in the canonical entitlement taxonomy.

Record statuses

Verified
An official source clearly confirms core terms and was checked recently.
Source found
An official page confirms the offer, but one or more normalized fields still need a deeper check.
Conditional
The offer depends on region, eligibility, invitation, account state, or a changing promotion.
Directory listed
One or more public directories claim the offer exists; Andrew’s Freebies has not yet confirmed it on a provider-owned page.

VERIFICATION SWEEPS

Every record should be attempted; uncertainty stays visible.

Record status describes catalog evidence. A separate field-level audit records URL health, offer availability, term matching, method, and timestamps. Outcomes are conservative: exact or partial confirmation, changed terms, explicit expiration, moved, blocked, fetch error, not found, or unknown. Blocked and unknown results never imply expiration. Audits are append-only and never remove catalog records; review determines any later catalog change.

Use the public freshness summary for latest-state coverage or inspect the verification history for individual audit evidence.
