What it unlocks
1 mile per $2 spent at the base Member tier, 3 miles per $1 spent at the email-opted-in Select tier, or 5 miles per $1 spent at the VIP tier starting with the 12th qualified transaction. VIP status continues through the next full calendar year after it is earned; eligible bonuses may add miles when their separate terms are met.

Requirements
Have a Delta SkyMiles account; enroll in SkyMiles Dining; link a valid eligible credit or debit card; find a participating restaurant and check its current earning days, visit limits, and monthly spending cap; complete an eligible dine-in or takeout purchase; and pay the restaurant directly with the linked card. Email opt-in is required for the 3-mile Select rate and, together with 11 qualified transactions in the calendar year, for the 5-mile VIP rate.
How to activate
Sign in with a SkyMiles number and password, join SkyMiles Dining, link an eligible credit or debit card, search the current restaurant directory, review that restaurant's earning calendar and limits, and pay the participating restaurant directly with the linked card.
Cost basis
Qualifying purchase required. The benefit is earned only when the user makes an eligible underlying purchase.
Cost and fees
Membership is free, but a qualifying restaurant purchase is required. A card can be linked to only one Rewards Network-operated program at a time.
