What it unlocks
Standard earning is 3 Rapid Rewards points per $1 spent with program email opt-in or 1 point per $2 without it, plus 10 points for each completed dining review. Published milestone bonuses add 500 points once after the first 1,500 dining-and-review points and 300 points after each subsequent 1,000; the current new-member offer adds 500 points when its separate terms are met.

Requirements
Have a Southwest Rapid Rewards account; create a Rapid Rewards Dining profile; link an eligible credit or debit card; find a participating restaurant and check its current earning days and monthly spending cap; pay the restaurant directly with the linked card; and opt in to program email for the 3-point rate. For the 500-point new-member offer, create the profile by January 5, 2027, spend at least $25 including tax and tip in one eligible dine-in transaction within 30 days, pay with the linked card, remain opted in, and complete the online review within 30 days after the dine.
How to activate
Join Rapid Rewards Dining with a Rapid Rewards account, link up to twelve eligible credit or debit cards, opt in to email for the higher published rate, search the current restaurant directory, review the restaurant's earning calendar and limits, and pay the restaurant directly with a linked card.

Cost and fees
Membership is free, but a qualifying restaurant purchase is required. Members can link up to twelve major credit or debit cards, but each card can belong to only one Rewards Network-operated program. Restaurant participation, earning days, monthly spending caps, and review eligibility vary; third-party ordering or delivery transactions may not qualify because the participating restaurant must process the linked-card charge. Standard points can take up to six weeks and milestone bonuses up to eight weeks to post.
