The free account has no trial deadline, payment field, automatic paid conversion, or recurring membership charge in the current registration interface. Valnet's general terms permit separately offered paid services only after prior consent and disclosure of the applicable fees. Military.com also links to third-party products, lead forms, and offers with their own terms; those are not included in the free account. Creating an account agrees to receive newsletters, which can be unsubscribed through an email or the account profile.

Eligibility

Military.com's current create-account interface offers Google sign-in or direct registration with an email address and password; the displayed password rule is at least eight characters with one capital letter and one number. The inspected initial interface does not ask for proof of military service, branch, status, street address, phone number, or payment method. Military.com's current User Agreement says users must be at least 16; people under 18 must use the site under adult supervision, and lead forms for marketing partners require age 18. Valnet's terms require correct, current, and complete registration information and allow one account per user. Registration accepts the linked terms and privacy policies and enrolls newsletters. Profile activity may be visible to other members, while contact information is not displayed unless the user chooses to share it. The full registration was not completed, so any later onboarding prompts were not tested.
