Chegg automatically charges the payment method on file until canceled, says subscription fees are nonrefundable, and does not roll unused subscription benefits into later months. Eligibility

Chegg limits free-trial membership to one per person and may require account registration and a valid payment method. The current Writing page accepts English-language papers and warns that uploaded papers are added to Chegg's plagiarism database and used internally to improve plagiarism results. Chegg's June 2026 privacy policy also says submitted files and documents may be used to provide and improve services, including training or fine-tuning Chegg or third-party AI and machine-learning models where applicable. Do not upload confidential, employer-owned, or third-party material without authority. No Chegg account was used and no paper, Google Drive file, payment information, or signup form was submitted during verification.
