Requirements: Create an Ibotta account, choose a supported retailer, add each offer before the required verification step, buy the exact eligible item during the offer window, and use the retailer-specific receipt, linked-loyalty, pickup, delivery, or online process. To withdraw, reach at least $20, successfully redeem at least one offer, and wait at least seven days after the first redemption or gift-card purchase; phone verification and payout-specific rules can also apply.
How to activate: Open the Ibotta app, add eligible offers to your list, shop through the retailer's instructed channel, submit the receipt or use supported linked verification, then withdraw after satisfying the current payout qualifications.
Cost basis: Qualifying purchase required. The benefit is earned only when the user makes an eligible underlying purchase.
Cost and fees: Ibotta is free to use. Purchases are required. After at least 180 days without a completed offer redemption or credited referral bonus, Ibotta deducts $3.99 from the Ibotta earnings balance for each additional 30 days of inactivity; it does not charge that maintenance fee to a personal bank account. Some digital gift cards require at least $25, and bank, PayPal, identity, phone, and account-review requirements can affect withdrawal.
