Eligible new primary checking owners can earn $350 after a qualifying recurring income deposit of at least $500 posts within 90 calendar days, then $100 after 12 consecutive following months and another $100 after 24. The $550 headline is a two-year retention offer, not one signup payment.

Who qualifies
Everyone in the United States may apply for FourLeaf membership; approval and opening and maintaining the required $5 Savings Account share are still required; New primary FourLeaf checking owner without a prior FourLeaf new-checking account bonus; Free Checking is currently offered for ages 21 and older; Student Checking is for ages 13–20, requires a parent or guardian joint owner at ages 13–17, and is available online only at ages 18–20
Requirements
Open an approved Free, Smart, or Student Checking account from February 2 through December 31, 2026. You must not already be the primary owner of a FourLeaf checking account or have received a prior FourLeaf new-checking bonus. For $350, a recurring electronic paycheck, pension, or government-benefit deposit of at least $500 from an employer, government, or similar third party must post within 90 calendar days after opening. ATM deposits, debit-card transfers, online-banking transfers or deposits, Zelle, Venmo, and other person-to-person or non-income deposits do not qualify. The initial bonus is required before either anniversary bonus. A qualifying deposit must then post every following month for 12 consecutive months to earn the second $100 and for 24 consecutive months to earn the third $100; a missed subsequent month makes the account ineligible for the later bonuses. Keep the checking account open and in good standing through each payout. One member can receive only one new-checking bonus, including across multiple checking accounts, and the offer cannot be combined with another checking offer.
How to activate
Start from FourLeaf's dedicated $550 offer page and save the displayed terms before applying. Choose an eligible account that the live product selector actually offers: it currently lists Free Checking and Student Checking, while the legal offer terms also name Smart Checking but the public product selector does not. Confirm that the $550 promotion is attached, that the exact account is eligible, and that the opening deadline remains December 31, 2026 before entering personal information. After approval, route a real recurring payroll, pension, or government-benefit deposit of at least $500 within 90 calendar days, then verify one qualifying deposit posts in every required month and preserve each statement through payout.
Cost basis
Deposit or balance activity required. The benefit requires opening, funding, maintaining, or using an account through deposits, direct deposit, balances, or qualifying transactions. Deposited principal is not necessarily a fee, but funds may be tied up and account charges may apply.
Cost and fees
The current Free and Student checking products advertise no monthly maintenance fee. FourLeaf separately requires a maintained $5 membership Savings Account share and lists a $5 checking opening minimum online or $0 in a branch; the public page states those two funding requirements separately, so the live application controls whether they require separate transfers. The current fee schedule lists $10 point-of-sale Courtesy Pay, $30 insufficient- or uncollected-funds charges, a combined daily maximum of up to $70 for those fee categories, and no FourLeaf fee at non-Co-op ATMs although the ATM owner may charge. Free Checking's currently advertised 0.40% APY is separate from the bonus: each month requires online banking with eStatements, at least one direct deposit, and 10 posted point-of-sale debit-card transactions; missing those activities makes that month's APY 0.00% but is not published as a debit-card requirement for the checking bonus. Each bonus is reported as interest on IRS Form 1099-INT, and the primary owner is responsible for applicable taxes. The member agreement includes individual arbitration and a class-action waiver, with a written opt-out due within 30 days after the agreement is provided. The privacy notice covers Social Security number, employment, balances, transactions, credit and payment history; some affiliate marketing sharing can be limited, while described sharing can continue after membership ends.
