What it unlocks
Up to $250: $150 for the qualifying account opening, $50 for the recurring ACH direct-deposit requirement, and $1 for each debit-card purchase of at least $5 during the first 60 days, capped at $50; all earned bonuses are credited to the member's share savings account 60–90 days after account origination
Who qualifies
New CommunityAmerica member who resides in Northwest Arkansas or in Los Angeles, Orange, or Ventura County, California; Applicant who has not had a CommunityAmerica membership during the preceding three years; Applicant who meets CommunityAmerica membership and account-qualification rules and is not a CommunityAmerica employee, volunteer, or family member of either
Requirements
Enter promo code 3045 or 3053 when applying and open a qualifying CommunityAmerica checking account with a free Visa debit card; Turning Point Checking and Student Checking do not qualify. The opening earns $150. To earn another $50, establish recurring ACH direct deposit of at least $500 aggregate per month within 60 days of account opening. To earn up to the final $50, make debit-card purchases of at least $5 during the first 60 days; each qualifying purchase earns $1, so the full purchase component requires 50 qualifying purchases. Keep the account open and in good standing through payout. Bonuses are limited to one per member and account, including accounts with multiple owners, cannot be combined with another offer, and may be taxable. The promotion has been available since June 1, 2026, but may change or end without notice and has no published fixed end date.
How to activate
Start from CommunityAmerica's dedicated Arkansas checking-promotion page and make sure promo code 3045 or 3053 is present when applying. Select a promotion-eligible checking account other than Turning Point Checking or Student Checking, open the required membership savings account with at least $1, and obtain the debit card. Retain the opening confirmation, direct-deposit records, debit-card transactions, and payout record; the full $250 requires both the recurring $500-aggregate monthly ACH direct-deposit condition and 50 debit-card purchases of at least $5 within the first 60 days.
Cost basis
Qualifying purchase required. The benefit is earned only when the user makes an eligible underlying purchase.
Cost and fees
The current product and fee pages list Cashback Free Checking with no monthly service fee or minimum balance, and the fee schedule also lists Chiefs Checking, Free Checking, and Student Checking as free; confirm that the selected product is promotion eligible because Turning Point Checking and Student Checking are expressly excluded. A new member must open and maintain a membership savings share with at least $1. Closing a checking, savings, or money-market account within six months costs $25 or the remaining balance, and a promotional account closed within six months is charged the amount of incentives paid. Overdraft, insufficient-funds, or uncollected-funds and Premium Overdraft Usage fees are $28 per item; those fees are limited to six per day in total, but a separately presented transaction may incur another fee. Overdraft transfer protection is $0. The account's separate ongoing 1% cash-back feature is not part of this signup bonus and has its own monthly eStatement and direct-deposit/debit-transaction qualifications. The membership agreement authorizes account, credit, and employment-history checks and third-party reports, contains binding arbitration and a class-action waiver with a small-claims exception, and permits written opt-out within 30 days. The federal privacy notice says CommunityAmerica collects Social Security or taxpayer-identification number, income, balances, payment history, credit history, and credit scores; members may limit joint marketing, affiliate creditworthiness sharing, and affiliate marketing, but not everyday-business, CommunityAmerica marketing, or affiliate transaction-and-experience sharing. The notice says sharing can begin 30 days after it is sent to a new member and continues as described after membership ends.
