Douglas or Sarpy County resident with accepted household hazardous waste; Eligible resident selecting available ReStore products
Requirements
Live in Douglas or Sarpy County, use household rather than business waste, and follow current identification, item, quantity, packaging, transportation, hours, latex-paint, and ReStore rules.
How to activate
Review facility rules and hours, package accepted products safely, visit the Omaha facility, and check the ReStore inventory during the visit.
Cost basis
Variable by provider or eligibility. The user's out-of-pocket cost cannot be represented by one fixed amount because it depends on provider policy, income, household, geography, selected service, coverage group, subsidy amount, or the underlying program. It may be free, reduced, sliding-scale, or partly paid.
Cost and fees
Most accepted household hazardous waste and ReStore products are free; latex paint currently has a per-container fee, and excluded or commercial waste may cost extra.
