Requirements
Meet a current half-fare category, obtain or use the required reduced-fare identification and Umo account or card, and follow fare-payment, proof, route, transfer, and service rules; microtransit and MOBY have separate terms.
How to activate
Apply through Metro for half-fare status, load value to the approved Umo card or app, and use the same account for qualifying rides so fare capping can apply.

Variable by provider or eligibility. The user's out-of-pocket cost cannot be represented by one fixed amount because it depends on provider policy, income, household, geography, selected service, coverage group, subsidy amount, or the underlying program. It may be free, reduced, sliding-scale, or partly paid.
Cost and fees
Enrollment may require identification; riders pay reduced fares until the cap, while microtransit, paratransit, lost cards, and excluded services may cost extra.
