Requirements
Be an Alameda County resident, show accepted address proof, personally transport household-generated waste, and follow current 15-gallon or 125-pound total, container, packaging, item, hours, and vehicle rules.
How to activate
Review accepted items and facility hours, package materials safely in the vehicle cargo area, bring residency proof, and stay in the vehicle while staff unloads.
Cost basis
Included with a qualifying relationship. The benefit adds no separate charge, but the user must already have an eligible card, account, insurance plan, library card, membership, employment, or similar relationship that may itself cost money.
Cost and fees
There is no drop-off charge at use, though the program is funded by an annual residential assessment; excluded, excess, business, hauled, and special waste may cost extra.
