MCTS offers reduced fares for older adults, young riders, and qualifying riders with disabilities, with free rides for children age five and younger.

What it unlocks: Current reduced local bus fare and fare-capping terms for eligible riders age 65 or older, ages 6 through 11, or with a qualifying disability; children age 5 or younger ride free with an adult.

Requirements: Meet a current age or disability category, obtain and use any required WisGo card or accepted proof, and follow route, transfer, companion, fare-cap, and paratransit rules.
How to activate: Review the current fare category, apply for or obtain the required fare credential when applicable, and tap or present it when boarding.
Cost basis: Variable by provider or eligibility. The user's out-of-pocket cost cannot be represented by one fixed amount because it depends on provider policy, income, household, geography, selected service, coverage group, subsidy amount, or the underlying program.
