Hillsborough County libraries lend portable Wi-Fi hotspots with unlimited data to eligible adult resident cardholders.

What it unlocks
Borrow an available hotspot for 14 days and connect up to five devices at no additional cost.

Eligible Hillsborough County adult resident library cardholder age 17 or older
Requirements
Be age 17 or older with an eligible adult resident library card, observe the one-hold and one-checkout limits, and follow current availability, renewal, network, pickup, staff-return, acceptable-use, loss, and damage rules.
How to activate
Search the catalog for a hotspot or call the library, place one hold, check out the device when available, and return it directly to staff.
Cost basis
Included with a qualifying relationship. The benefit adds no separate charge, but the user must already have an eligible card, account, insurance plan, library card, membership, employment, or similar relationship that may itself cost money.

Standard checkout and included data are free; loss, damage, nonreturn, accessories, and optional services may create charges or restrictions.
