Requirements
The household must meet current income rules and geographic or Tribal-member criteria. A household cannot receive both FDPIR and SNAP in the same month.
How to activate
Find the administering Tribal or state agency and submit its household, income, residence, and Tribal-status documentation.
Cost basis
No-cost access. The core benefit has no required payment, purchase, deposit, paid membership, or pre-existing paid-product relationship under the captured terms.
Cost and fees
No fee for approved food benefits; the program cannot be combined with SNAP in the same month.
