Requirements
Be age 65 or older, hold Medicare, or have a qualifying disability, present an accepted GET, Medicare, or age-verification card, and follow current route, fare, pass, proof, transfer, and service rules.
How to activate
Obtain any required GET identification, choose a reduced-fare product, and show the accepted credential when purchasing or boarding.
Cost basis
Variable by provider or eligibility. The user's out-of-pocket cost cannot be represented by one fixed amount because it depends on provider policy, income, household, geography, selected service, coverage group, subsidy amount, or the underlying program. It may be free, reduced, sliding-scale, or partly paid.
