Requirements
Be an eligible City of Atlanta solid-waste customer with a physical limitation, have no other qualifying household assistance under current rules, submit the required application and medical verification, and recertify when required.
How to activate
Complete the current backyard-service application and health-provider verification, submit them through the listed channel, and follow recertification instructions after approval.
Cost basis
Included with a qualifying relationship. The benefit adds no separate charge, but the user must already have an eligible card, account, insurance plan, library card, membership, employment, or similar relationship that may itself cost money.
Cost and fees
Approved backyard collection has no added service charge; normal solid-waste fees, excess service, excluded items, and other household costs still apply.
